Cloud Engineer / Developer (AWS Lambda Python TDD CI/CD). As a Cloud Engineer / Developer you’ll be designing and developing complex tracking delivery systems technology for major clients using the latest technologies in a server-less architecture. You’ll be working directly with clients to customise bespoke solutions to their needs working across the full development life cycle, creating prototypes and innovating using the latest technology including Amazon Web Services Server-less products (DynamoDB, Kinesis, S3 and Lambda).

Requirements:

Strong AWS experience including Lambda; ideally AWS Associate Level certification (or desire to gain quickly)
Strong Python development experience
Advocate of Agile TDD, serverless architecture, CI/CD
Collaborative technologist with good communication skills

IT Network Engineer

The role is a varied role providing in-house IT support to maintain and update the company’s current IT systems. The business operates a number of diverse IT systems and technologies from multiple sites within the Cheshire area. They are currently strengthening their own in-house IT department to maintain the company growth forecast for the future, and the ideal candidate will work within a small team of IT specialists.

Additional training, qualifications and certifications provided to enable you to grow within the IT Engineer role.

Should have a good working knowledge of all aspects of IT with experience in LAN and WAN environments with a good understanding of VLAN configuration etc.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have a minimum of three years provable experience within a comparable environment. We will however consider suitably experienced candidates who can demonstrate the required skills.

Some systems production and manufacturing based so exposure to a factory environment would be an advantage.

IT Network Engineer – Skills/Experience preferred:

– Windows desktop 7, 8.1 and 10.
– Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 installation, operation and troubleshooting
– Hyper-V Virtualization installation, operation and troubleshooting
– Remote Desktop Services
– Active Directory and Group Policy Administration
– Connectivity – Experience specifying and deploying Fibre, MPLS, EFM, vDSL
– Network troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, IPSec
– Working knowledge of VLAN’s and Layer 3 / Layer 2 Switches
– Industry recognised qualification i.e. MCSA, MCSE, CCNA etc.
